The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties is pleased to announce this year’s Humanitarian Gala, to be held at Navesink Country Club on Friday, March 24, 2017, and will feature music from The Nines.
The FoodBank will honor these outstanding humanitarians this year who have exhibited extraordinary loyalty and commitment toward helping those in need and ensuring that hunger won’t win here. The 2017 honorees are Rena Levine Levy & Steven Levine, WindMill Restaurants; Members of United Teletech Financial; and Board Chairs Emeritus. The Jr. Humanitarian is Dominic Esposito and Agency Partner is King of Kings Food Pantry.
The Gala is the FoodBank’s annual fundraising event and helps provide food and hope to our local shore communities. For information on tickets or sponsorships, go to http://www.foodbankmoc.org.
The FoodBank is the primary provider of food and services to a network of over 300 partner agencies. Our food and resources supported more than 12 million meals last year – including 2.5 million pounds of fresh produce. We receive the highest rating of 4 Stars from Charity Navigator. A total of 95 cents out of every dollar raised supports food and programs. A $1 donation can provide up to three meals.
