Prominent New Jersey business people Ralph Zucker, president of Somerset Development, and Carol Stillwell, president of Stillwell-Hansen, will headline the Third Annual Aberdeen Economic Business Council (EBC) Dinner, which will take place on March 22, 2018 at Addison Park on Route 35 in Aberdeen.
The event, which is open to businesspeople and government officials from Aberdeen and other communities, begins at 6:30 p.m. with a networking cocktail hour with an array of hors d’oeuvres. This will be followed by a multi-course sit-down dinner.
Following opening remarks on Aberdeen business initiatives from Mayor Fred Tagliarini and EBC Chairman Carmine Visone, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno will lead a ‘fireside chat’-style Q&A session with Mr. Zucker and Ms. Stillwell. The entrepreneurs will reflect on their careers, management styles, and other issues designed to educate the audience about building successful businesses in New Jersey. Guests will also be invited to ask questions.
Somerset Development, based in Holmdel, is one of the New York metropolitan area’s foremost real estate companies specializing in New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Design. Current projects include The Glassworks in Aberdeen and Bell Works in Holmdel. In October, Mr. Zucker was named to business publication Return on Investment-NJ’s ROI Influencers-Real Estate 2017, ranking number five.
Stillwell-Hansen, Inc., located in Edison, is a leader in data center infrastructure solutions, including power, precision cooling, fire protection, and traditional HVAC products. Along with her role at Stillwell-Hansen, Ms. Stillwell is actively involved in a number of philanthropic endeavors throughout Monmouth County, and has been recognized as one of New Jersey’s top businesswomen four times in the last ten years.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have lined up Ralph and Carol as our two speakers,” said Mr. Visone. “Both are extraordinarily successful and have compelling stories that would be of interest to any business owner.”
Tickets will again cost just $30.00. For more information on the event or to purchase tickets, contact Maxine Rescorl, Aberdeen Township, at 732.583.4200, ext. 101.
