Every Monday in April is HABCORE Day at Bahrs Landing in Highlands! Ray and Jay Cosgrove, fourth generation owners, encourage everyone to come dine during lunch or dinner to support HABCORE who are celebrating their 30th anniversary.  Bahrs Landing has been serving up a fresh seafood menu and spectacular waterfront views for over 100 years.

Bahrs Landing is one of six local businesses in Monmouth and Ocean counties hosting HABCORE Days this spring and summer in celebration of HABCORE’s 30th Anniversary year.  HABCORE is a nonprofit organization in Red Bank, NJ that provides permanent housing and supportive services to homeless veterans, families and individuals with special needs in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

“HABCORE’s important work helps those in need in our community and Bahrs Landing has been supporting community charities since 1917. We are happy to support their housing for the homeless efforts in Monmouth County,” said Jay Cosgrove.

“We are grateful to Jay and Ray Cosgrove for choosing to support HABCORE this year,” said HABCORE’s Executive Director Steve Heisman.  “We are appreciative for our community partners with such a strong presence here in Monmouth and Ocean counties. We encourage everyone to support local businesses this spring and summer while supporting HABCORE.”

The businesses supporting HABCORE Days this spring and summer are: Bahrs Landing, Highlands every Monday in April; Distinctive Toys, Fair Haven, May 23; Windansea, Highlands, June 23; Tiki at Channel Club, June 8; The Lusty Lobster, Highlands, August 15
