Monmouth Conservation Foundation (MCF) is pleased to present its annual Enhancing Monmouth County Holiday Style Lunch and Shopping Spree featuring a conversation with the distinguished cultural entrepreneur and social impact influencer, Tamsin Smith, and award-winning broadcast journalist and author Kitty Pilgrim at the Navesink Country Club on December 3rd.
Tamsin Smith is the founding president of (RED) that empowered the public to help generate over $600 million to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. As founder of the creative/strategic consultancy, slipstreamstragegy.com, she helps brands and individuals make good ideas that matter to the world a reality. She is launching Mab & Stoke, a new plant-based venture to help humans and the planet alike. Kitty Pilgrim’s main focus as a journalist has been the study of how media shapes global affairs. She began her career in 1986 by joining CNN and staying with the network for twenty-five years. In her free time, Kitty writes fiction and has authored three thriller novels and is currently working on her fourth book.
These two acclaimed personalities will discuss their thoughts on what inspires them, their careers, the “business” of giving and how all of us can live more meaningful lives, through philanthropy, the climate crisis and the initiatives we can take to protect the environment for ourselves, our children and our children’s children.
Over 300 attendees will be invited to Tamsin and Kitty’s lunch presentation, and to kick-off their holiday shopping with a unique array of vendors, while supporting MCF’s mission to preserve land, create parks, safeguard our waterways and save wildlife. Tickets are $150-$175. The shopping event will also be open to the public from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm OR 12:30 to 4:00 pm. Tickets for the Holiday Style Boutique shopping experience are only $20 (to include an MCF tote bag). For more information, visit monmouthconservation.org.
