The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lincroft Volunteer Fire Company is sponsoring a fundraiser called Fun at the Firehouse. The festivities start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 2nd at the Lincroft Fire House, located at 601 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft (diagonally across from ACME).
The proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase equipment for the Lincroft Fire Company. Just as important, the fundraiser offers an opportunity for friends to get together locally and have a great time at a very reasonable cost – FREE!!
There is no admission fee; however, optional donations would be greatly appreciated. Reservations for a full table (requires 8 people) may be made, otherwise, players may come to join the fun on a first come basis. The doors open at 7:00 p.m.
No skills are required to play the game, just a willingness to have a good time. At each game table there will be playing cards dealt out. As the caller calls off cards from a separate deck, players remove the called card from their hands. When a player has no cards left, he/she wins! Each winner selects a prize from a pile of more than 200 wrapped gifts. There are multiple winners in each game. Raffles will be sold during the evening for gift baskets and a 50/50 prize. Everyone is guaranteed to go home with at least 1 prize.
Currently, the Ladies Auxiliary are accepting contributions for game prizes and gift baskets. Please contact Maria Dunn at 732.345.9525 to schedule the pickup of donations, for reservations or to obtain more details.
The Ladies Auxiliary is a support group for the Lincroft Fire Company. They supply food/beverages to the volunteer firefighters upon return from fire calls and to those who remain ‘on call’ at the firehouse when there is a state of emergency. In addition, the Ladies Auxiliary sponsors fundraisers for the fire house. New members are always needed by the fire company and the Ladies Auxiliary, so become a member soon!
